It is an antibacterial agent used in infection of genitourinary system, skin and soft tissues, respiratory system, gonorrhea, ENT and urinary tract and other infections caused by some gram-positive aerobes like Streptococcus faecalis , Streptococcus pneumoniae & some gram-negative aerobes likes Haemophilus influenzae , E . coli.
